Business model options

Opportunities for experienced advisors

As a seasoned financial advisor, chances are you have a good idea of what works best for you when it comes to your practice. And we know what works best for our advisors - options. That's why working with the Wells Fargo team comes with a wealth of resources and opportunities - including events and community-building functions - to help grow your business and propel your practice to where you envision it to be. From traditional avenues to more independent models, we put the choice in your hands. Because after all, it's your career.

Independence - Your practice, your way

Retain your spirit of independence in your practice with the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. Having the best of both worlds, you originate client relationships and manage your business as an independent owner, but have access to a robust range of Wells Fargo product solutions.

Keeping it traditional

If you prefer to go with a more traditional broker-dealer model, you'll have the option of primarily originating client relationships on your own, or through a combination of self-originated and banking team referrals while working out of a branch. Whichever route you choose, you'll have access to the full range of Wells Fargo resources to help meet your clients' needs.

New Advisors

If you're just starting out as a financial advisor, you'll have options as well. With several different avenues available to help jump-start your practice, you can choose the training program that best fits your working style or client interaction preference. No matter which route you choose, you'll get the tools and training to help your clients succeed and the potential to grow your business through coaching and mentoring, hands-on learning opportunities, and comprehensive training courses.
